1. Sinclair Spectrum

In 1982, Sinclair made its first debut in the UK. Clive Sinclair’s affordable range sold in excess of 5 million units worldwide and led to a boom in companies producing compatible software, in turn launching the UK IT industry.

2. Live AID

This dual-venue concert that was put on by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure was a great way to raise money for helping the Ethiopian famine problem. It was held multiple times in Wembley Stadium in London.

We all know him from his lead role in Queen. He also helped out with Live AID in 1985 with a full stadium of 72,000 people clapping.
